In my youth I came to Terschelling with my parents during summer vacations. As a kid I always looked forward to weeks before we went. And on the return journey I said goodbye to the island again at the rail of the ferry, with tears of sorrow. My love for Terschelling arose during that period. Just like later with my wife and children. We sailed to the Wadden or we rented a house. When the opportunity arose in the late 1990s to acquire a holiday home there, the choice was quickly made. Finally a home! Since then we come to Terschelling even more often and we like it when others also celebrate their holiday in our house. You're welcome!
- visit the self-picking garden Groenhof in Hoorn, the organic sheep farm De Zeekraal in Oosterend or do a workshop at cooking studio Flang in de Pan in Hoorn, opposite Het Olde Ambaecht, a must for those who love smoked fish; - you can wander endlessly on the beach, through the dunes and the woods, but also horseback riding and sand yachting, even for beginners; - or take a day trip to Vlieland with the Waddentaxi MS Zeehond and rent a bicycle.
