Laura Conijn: Photographer, designs and sells island related articles and works at Camping Cupido

"The peace and freedom here on Terschelling gives me the real island feeling," she says.

"Especially when I compare that to living on the mainland. You have, literally and figuratively, the space here. You can go in any direction and that's what makes photography so enjoyable for me."

Actually Laura has three most beautiful places on Terschelling, but if she has to choose one it is Boschplaat. "You rarely meet anyone there and you can take very beautiful photos. Nature is so varied and different every time. I always see life there without it being crowded, wonderful to see."
