Buses
Bus services on Terschelling are well organised and run in line with the ferry arrival and departure times. The bus is usually already waiting when the ferry arrives. Buses run all year round between West Terschelling and Oosterend (line 1) and, for most of the year – from 1 April to 1 November and daily during the holidays – there is also a bus service from West Terschelling to West- and Midsland aan Zee (line 2). On Fridays and Saturdays, during Oerol and in the northern summer holidays, there is also a night bus (until 02:00 AM) running between West Terschelling and Oosterend (line 9).

Taxis
There are many taxi companies on the island that can take you to your holiday home. These are ready for you on arrival at Terschelling at the port site. In the unlikely event that there are no more taxis, wait a little longer. The distances on the island are small so the first one will return soon to take you away.
