To find the Dwarsdijk, turn onto the Hoofdweg and follow it until you can't go any further. This is where the "inhabited world" ends and the Takkekooi and Boschplaat nature reserve begins. The Wierschuur is located outside the dikes on the Wad. You have to see the sun rise here.
