Bunker Museum Visitor Center

The former canteen building has been transformed into a fascinating exhibition and reception area where a historical film about the Atlantic Wall is also shown. With admission to the visitor center (€10.00 from age 13, €6.00 for ages 6 to 12), you have access to a number of furnished (exhibition) bunkers using a route map and QR code. Inside the bunkers, you can view exhibitions about the Terschelling residents who perished in WWII, including a memorial to the only Jewish family that lived on Terschelling, and about the Terschelling forced laborers employed in Germany. SCAVENGER HUNT: A fun scavenger hunt has been set up for the children. This is available at the reception. GPS GAME: An informative GPS game has now also been developed to play inside and outside the museum with families and groups of (young) adults. Collaboration and discovery are central to the game. At the museum's visitor center, you can get all the information about the game. GUIDED EXCURSION: Additionally, you can book a guided excursion (€15.00) via the VVV Terschelling website. The guide will tell the story of the Tigerstellung in two hours. Prepare to be surprised! The Terschelling Bunker Museum has limited parking available for cars. Drive up the Tigerpad and follow the blue sign marked P, or place your bicycle in the bike racks at the start of the path. Tickets for the visitor center are available on site.

Bunkermuseum

Bunkermuseum

For decades, the "Tiger Defence Line" from World War II, with its hidden stories, remained virtually invisible. The former canteen building has been transformed into a fascinating exhibition and reception area. There's plenty to do in the museum. For example, there's a treasure hunt for children, and you can book a guided tour on our website, which will lead you on a journey of discovery through various impressive structures. Prepare to be amazed! GPS Game: An informative GPS game has now been developed for families and groups of (young) adults to play inside and outside the museum. Collaboration and discovery are key. You can find all the information about the game at the museum's visitor center.
