Sail the mudflats with 'de Toekomst' and spot seals along the way. De Toekomst is a kofschip (a Dutch kof ship) with a length of 30 meters and a width of approximately 6 meters. These ships were once widely used for trade in the Wadden Sea region. The two-master was launched in 2002. There is room for 60 passengers on board. The home port is Terschelling. Sailing If there is sufficient wind, the sails are hoisted and the ship sails along sandbanks, through channels and inlets, spotting seals along the way. The crew is essential for sailing.
